Lifetime Connections Without Walls is building a community over the phone. The program is designed after two very successful programs in New York and California. Older adults join from the comfort of their home, using their own telephone. Our goal is to alleviate social isolation and loneliness. We provide social activities over the phone and bridge distances separating our older adults. Do you know any clients, neighbors or family interested in being part of the phone community? Anyone over the age of 55 can participate! Volunteers and older adults cannot see each other, they sense warmth and enthusiasm through the phone, and know how much it means to them.
