Consultation Services

Geriatric Consultations are done in the Family Eldercare offices, in the home, and over the phone.

Our Geriatric Consultant can help prioritize issues and develop a plan to address the concerns of the client and family.  Consultations are billed by the hour.

Geriatric Assessments

Geriatric Assessment are done to determine the overall situation, including cognitive and physical function, and the next steps to take.

Each assessment includes a written report detailing findings and recommendations for current and future care and information and referrals to identify local resources and services specific to your loved one’s needs. Follow up support is provided as needed.
Assessments are billed as a fee for service and follow up is billed by the hour.

Other Services

Counseling/Therapy with a Clinical Social Worker to provide assistance with issues related to:
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Caregiver stress
• Decreased coping skills
• Adjustment to life transitions
• Family conflict
• Unresolved grief
• Loss of spouse or adult child
• Emotional trauma and crisis
• Screenings for depression and cognitive/memory impairment

Counseling/Therapy is provided in the client's home or in Family Eldercare's office and is covered by Medicare Part B or private pay by the hour.

Seminars

Seminars are available for groups that are interested in being educated about eldercare issues. Cost for seminars varies; please contact us for pricing information. Seminar presentations can be up to 1 1/2 hours in length, and topics include:
